Job Responsibilities

The Work Control Center Clerk – Material Coordinator provides administrative and material coordination support for facilities maintenance and work control operations in accordance with Navy work management and logistics procedures. Responsibilities include tracking, coordinating, and managing materials required to support maintenance work orders and service requests.

The Material Coordinator reviews work orders to identify material requirements, coordinates with supply, warehouse, and maintenance personnel, and ensures materials are ordered, received, staged, and issued in a timely manner. This role includes updating work management systems, maintaining material status, and communicating availability or delays to supervisors and technicians.

Additional duties include maintaining material records, reconciling receipts, supporting inventory accountability, preparing reports, and assisting with audits or inspections. The Work Control Center Clerk – Material Coordinator ensures accurate material flow and supports efficient execution of mission‑critical maintenance operations in a remote, mission‑driven environment.

Minimum Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in clerical, material coordination, logistics, or administrative support roles
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of material tracking, inventory control, or supply coordination processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and/or computerized work management or inventory systems
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
  • Must be in possession of a valid Passport and be able to travel internationally.
  • Passport should be valid for a minimum of 1 plus years at the time of hiring.
  • Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous work experience in an austere OCONUS environment with a multi-national workforce.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and customer service skills.
  • Valid country driver's license
  • Country visa (as required in line with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide).
