Coordinate and expedite the completion of various support documentation and/or detailed documents and analyze effects of changes to forecasts, schedules, etc. Monitor cost data such as labor and budgets. Develop/revise department computer applications and prepare presentation material for various departmental meetings.
WORKING PROCEDURE:
THE FOLLOWING ARE USUAL MAJOR JOB DUTIES BUT THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT PRECLUDE THE PERFORMANCE OF OTHER DUTIES BY THE INCUMBENT, NOR THE QUESTION BEING RAISED ON PROPER RATE FOR THE ASSIGNMENT.
Perform the duties of the Data Administrator “B” and in addition perform the following:
1. Submit and maintain tracking of CDRLS and contract changes in various submittal software. Investigate discrepancies/problems and recommend and/or initiate corrective action. Ensure timely deliverables of CDRLs. (DSS and CDLP)
2. Submit engineering drawings in various systems. (DSS and CDLP)
3. Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with internal or external customers, in written and oral format
4. Administrator for various multi-user applications including adding users, editing permissions and creating assigned groups.
5. Produce charts and graphs utilizing various computer applications to assist the program management office. Obtain and disseminate information and prepare and coordinate presentations.
6. Maintain and update any contract updates/MODS in the Contracts Requirements Traceability Matrix (CRTM). (DSS and CDLP)
7. Assist in preparation for internal and external audits related to direct position.
8. Analyze and develop/revise administrative methods and procedures for improvement including, setting up and implementing computer applications to support departmental activities utilizing the advanced features of a variety of software packages such as database management and spreadsheets. Create and maintain standard operating procedures as new processes are created.
9. Prepare and coordinate presentation material and for Customer Technical Exchanges, Program Status Meetings, fact-finding, negotiations, Proposal and/or Project Managers, other NG departments, etc. (Mainly CDLP)
10. Provide administrative research and assistance on special projects.
11. Perform work of equal or lower code level as required.
DIRECTION OF OTHERS:
Provides guidance to lower classified personnel.
Performs assignment on own initiative. Limited instructions are provided on special or new assignments.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- · High School Diploma or equivalent GED with a minimum of 3+ years related experience or bachelor’s degree with 1+ years related experience as an Administrative Generalist.
- · Minimum 2 years’ experience in working with defense related projects, program and/or proposal support documents, due dates, etc.
- · Minimum 2 years’ experience in interpretation of metric data for slide creation/presentation in program status meetings, customer technical exchanges
- · Minimum of 2 years’ experience in MS Suite including Excel (including advanced features such as macros).
- · US Citizenship is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- · College level courses in advanced algebra, advanced accounting, business communications and advanced computer applications or equivalent, experience with U.S. Government contracts.
- · Two years’ experience as a Data Administrator “B” or its recognized equivalent.
