Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking a Mid-LevelTest SupportPilot to join our Flight Operations team in Seattle, WA

As a Light Test Support Pilot at the Boeing Company, you will have the opportunity to fly our light support aircraft in support of our Commercial, Military and Development programs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Primary role - Fly as a single or dual pilot in the execution of aircrew movements with light support aircraft, Cessna Caravan, Pilatus PC-12 and others to support offsite production and engineering flight operations

  • Secondary role - May participate in acceptance, ferry and functional test flights on testbed aircraft

  • Assists Engineering in the planning of project flight profiles

  • Demonstrates testbed acceptance process to validate configuration compliance; contributes to project configuration and safety review

  • Coordinates with Engineering, Manufacturing and Airworthiness personnel on certification efforts to ensure design integrity

  • Identifies and documents project configuration deficiencies and coordinates resolution with engineering

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

  • Commercial Certificate or FAA ATP with appropriate endorsements or military equivalent

  • Single Engine Turbo-prop experience

  • Aircrew experience

  • Experience working with Flight Test

  • 1000 flight hours

  • Current FAA Class II medical certificate or the ability to obtain one

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

Shift:

This position is primarily 1st shift; however, variable shifts including day, evening, nights, weekends and holidays may be required to support program objectives.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $169,150 - $228,850
