Role Title: T&E Engineer

Role Description:

Support T&E Manager to meet program objectives defined in the approved Systems Engineering Management Plan and Program Verification and Validation Plan.

• Coordinate planning, management, and reporting of test and evaluation activities, including developmental, acceptance, operational, and in-service testing.

• Develop and maintain V&V, Test and Evaluation Strategies, Master Plans, and related documentation under agile delivery methodology.

• Coordinate risk management, verification, and validation activities.

• Apply continuous improvement to Test & Evaluation and Verification & Validation methodologies for novel program execution strategy.

• Provide expert advice on V&V processes, frameworks, and best practices.

• Collaborate with engineering and commercial teams to ensure integrated delivery of program objectives.

• Review T&E and V&V artefacts to provide program assurance over activities.

Essential Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Systems Engineering frameworks, V&V strategies, and lifecycle application.

• Proven ability to develop and implement Systems Engineering plans with a focus on V&V.

• Extensive experience in Systems Engineering within complex Defence environments, including V&V and Test & Evaluation.

• Experience providing professional advice on system assurance and certification.

• Demonstrated understanding of capability delivery processes and relevant systems engineering policies and governance frameworks.

• Ability to work independently and manage complex tasks with minimal supervision.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement, verbal communication, and technical writing skills.

• Ability to obtain required security clearances.

• Project management familiarity.

• Eligible to access US Export Controlled (ITAR) information

• Relevant ENG or T&E qualifications
