Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
The Autonomous Maritimes Platforms Systems Engineering team is looking for a highly motivated engineer to join our team and become a member of a skilled cross functional team responsible for the development, implementation, and testing of advanced autonomous systems. As a member of our team, you will be on the cutting edge of design and integration of advanced maritime systems, embedded electronics, and autonomy.

- Leveraging the Bluefin Robotics Autonomous Underwater Vehicle platform to design, develop, and test new novel concepts and mission solutions
What you bring to the table:
- Academic multi-discipline background in Autonomy, Mechanical Design, and Control Systems
- Experience integrating assemblies and subsystems into system level solutions
- Requirements analysis, definition, management, validation and verification, test procedure creation and execution
- Generation of technical engineer design products through use of applicable standards, best practices, and tools throughout the systems development life cycle.

- Strong academic background with applicable experiences related to the autonomy, navigation, controls, and robotics fields
- Knowledge of autonomous/unmanned undersea vehicles (AUV/UUVs) technologies, principles, theories and concepts

- Collaborative team player eager to develop and grow working with mentors and subject matter experts

Salary Note
This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
Combined Salary Range
USD $77,843.00 - USD $86,358.00 /Yr.
