Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Supply Chain Procurement Specialist to join its team of diverse and qualified individuals. This position will be in Roy, UT and will support the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) division.

Responsibilities:

• Support various commodities and programs after PO placement
• Ensure compliance with company and business policies
• Manage delivery schedules, invoices, and material disposition requests
• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned suppliers
• Review, reconcile, and approve supplier invoices
• Collaborate with internal and external teams across Global Supply Chain
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate activities to achieve objectives

Basic Qualifications for Supply Chain Procurement Specialist:

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience Or a Master's degree with 0 years of professional experience in supply chain management, business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, manufacturing, or a closely related field or 4 years of additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP system
• Experience in MS Office suite.
• Experience in critical thinking, and innovative behaviors in supply chain projects or roles.
• Ability to obtain a US Government issued Secret clearance
• US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Government contract knowledge and/or experience
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Experience managing suppliers through the following: cost/schedule/quality.
• Active Security Clearance
• Ability to prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience within the Aerospace or Aviation Industry is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially in a global supply chain working environment.

Primary Level Salary Range: $59,600.00 - $89,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
