Aeronautics Systems is seeking an Supply Chain Planning Specialist 1OR 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in El Segundo, CA.

Essential Functions:

  • Processing various SAP transactions related to Goods Movement functions
  • Systematic investigation and resolution of inventory discrepancies
  • Creation and processing of shipping documentation
  • Processing of dropship and supplier managed inventories to reconcile the business system
  • Working closely Supplier Quality, Receiving, and QA on Stock Purges and necessary product inspections
  • Creates and runs weekly status reports and metrics to track warehouse performance
  • Focal for MAKE MRP aspects of warehousing

This position may be filled as a Level 1 or Level 2 based on the qualifications outlined below.

Basic Qualifications Level 1:

  • Bachelor's degree with 0 year’s experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree

  • Ability to work in MS 365, Excel, Word, Power Point
  • SAP or similar ERP knowledge
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to obtain and maintain equipment licensing including but not limited to electric carts, forklift, reachlift
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DOD Secret Clearance and a Program Special Access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (after starting)

  • Bachelor's degree with 0 year’s experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of related experience in lieu of degree

  • Ability to work in MS 365, Excel, Word, Power Point
  • SAP or similar ERP knowledge
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to obtain and maintain equipment licensing including but not limited to electric carts, forklift, reachlift
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DOD Secret Clearance and a Program Special Access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (after starting)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with MRP functions
  • Experience with leading a team
  • Experience with SAP for receiving, storing, and issuing materials
  • Experienced user of MS Office computer programs

Primary Level Salary Range: $63,000.00 - $94,600.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
