Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Supply Chain Management Analyst to join our CTSC - Cutting Tool Service Center team in Auburn, Washington.

The Supply Chain Analyst will have responsibility across the CTSC - Cutting Tool Service Center program. This position will incorporate change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions. The statement of work includes standard supply chain management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned. In this role you will be working with a great team of Supply Chain Management Analysts (SCMA) that purchase raw materials, supplier parts and release production orders while ensuring adherence to program schedule, organizational compliance with inventory management policies and contractual requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions

  • Applies supply chain management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain

  • Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability

  • Develops, controls and optimizes inventory plans

  • Analyzes complex material requirements

  • Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance

  • Determines part number attributes

  • Ensures on-time delivery

  • Documents and resolves order delinquencies

  • Reports schedule adherence issues

  • Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories

  • Initiates audits

  • Develops and creates schedules for products and services

  • Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals

  • Works under general direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with Supply Chain Management or Materials Management 

  • 5+ years working with any industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning System) such as SAP (System Applications and Products)

  • 5+ years of experience forecasting, scheduling and ordering inventories/supplies

  • 5+ years of experience with vendor management operations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience managing projects

  • Managing process improvement projects

  • Working in the aerospace or manufacturing industry

  • Performing data analysis

  • Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint) with proficiency

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree

Summary Pay Range (Level 3): $91,800 - $124,200
