The Boeing Global Services (BGS) Supply Chain Customer Pre-Award Team has an opportunity for a Supply Base Management Specialist (Associate or Experienced ) to join our team in Hazelwood, MO

This position is to support the BGS Government Services business. The selected candidate will contribute to new customer proposal activities by providing Supplier Management support to BGS stakeholder partners enabling deal quality and flawless execution for Bomber & Fighter, U.S. Navy and International programs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary focal point for Supplier Management regarding customer proposal-related matters

  • Oversee and coordinate the development of procurement plans to meet the requirements of individual proposals

  • Efficiently manage multiple proposal(s) tasks simultaneously to position supply chain for successful performance of complex contracts

  • Identify opportunities within the BGS Supply Chain and develop innovative solutions to complex problems that align with program and customer objectives

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, peers, contracts, engineering, estimating, supply chain and other support functions

  • Utilize primary systems and tools, including SCARS, SMPP, EPIC, Cognos, ESGP tool, and Microsoft Excel, to support supply chain activities

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes

  • 3 + years of experience working with customers and supplier requirements to support program demands

  • 3 + years of experience managing subcontracted efforts and supplier performance

  • 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams

  • 1+ years of experience in supporting complex opportunity capture, projects and/or complex problem solving

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 4+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes

  • 4 + years of experience working with customers and supplier requirements to support program demands

  • 4 + years of experience managing subcontracted efforts and supplier performance

  • 4+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams

  • 1+ years of experience in leading complex opportunity capture, projects and/or complex problem solving

  • 1+ years of experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Experience as a Supply Base Management Specialist

Travel:

This position may require traveling up to 10% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range

Associate (Level 2):      $79,900 – $108,100

Experienced (Level 3): $99,450 - $134,550
