Summary

Job Description

The Facility Operations Supervisor leads a team responsible for ensuring the safety and operational readiness of L3Harris Camden’s multi‑building manufacturing, lab, and office complex. This role ensures that all facilities—including production areas, test operations, warehouses, grounds, interior spaces, and manufacturing/support equipment—are properly maintained to support high‑volume manufacturing operations.

Essential Functions

• Lead, direct, and review the work of direct reports who exercise independence and judgment in their assignments.
• Communicate with internal teams, contractors, and service vendors to explain and influence changes to policies, practices, and operational approaches.
• Drive significant improvements in processes, systems, and facility operations.
• Establish short‑term operational plans that deliver measurable results for the function or business area.
• Frequently walk manufacturing floors to assess equipment, facility conditions, and safety compliance.
• Perform regular bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting as required to support facility operations.
• Exercise hiring, firing, promotion, and compensation authority within the organization, subject to management review and approval.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills
• Experience supporting high‑volume manufacturing facilities, equipment controls, and related automation.
• Leadership experience in facility operations, building maintenance, or facility services supervision; experience leading teams across multiple buildings in an industrial or manufacturing environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of general facility maintenance practices, preventative maintenance, building systems, and industrial safety standards.
