Description:The successful candidate for this position will lead the continuous improvement effort for their organization and collaborate with all organizational OpEx leads to deploy and strengthen the Aero Continuous Improvement culture and practices across the enterprise.

Responsibilities to include:
· Support and champion Aero’s overall Operational Excellence strategic vision and direction.
· Drive OpEx/Strategy Deployment/Continuous Improvement in the assigned Function/LOB.
· Work with organizational leadership to effectively lead Strategy Deployment.
· Lead enterprise-level strategic initiatives and improvement activities in support of organizational priorities.
· Coach organizational leaders and mentor Green/Black Belts
· Act as organization’s POC as member of Aeronautics Tier 1-2 OpEx Council.
· Coordinate the annual kick off, progress, and closure of strategy deployment.
· Ensure connection and tie in with Tier 1-3 COE for alignment of annual objectives, priorities, and TTI’s.
· Support Value Stream Integration activities across Aero.
· Lead organizational OpEx Council to establish alignment across organizational improvement activities and align to Aero objectives.
· Conduct business case analysis and prioritization of projects.

Basic Qualifications:
· Experience as a Project Manager

· Experience interfacing with all levels of
employees, to include executive leadership

· Experience mentoring and coaching both
leaders and lean practitioners

· Understanding of business processes:
Example: Financial Management, Program
Management, Risk Management, and/or System
Engineering processes and methodologies
Desired Skills:
· Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt

· Leadership experience

· Facilitation experience

· Strong interpersonal skills

· Ability to build enduring relationships across
multiple programs and Lines of Business

· Project/Program Leader

· Active Secret Clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
