The Sr. Program Manager – FVL Process & Transformation Leader will lead high-impact transformation initiatives supporting Future Vertical Lift (FVL) efforts through process excellence, FLIGHT DECK fundamentals, AI-enabled solutions, and data-driven execution. This role is responsible for identifying, designing, and deploying improvements that simplify workflows, improve operating rigor, and deliver measurable business impact across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

This leader will work across program, engineering, digital technology, and functional teams to accelerate process transformation, drive adoption of new ways of working, and establish the training, communication, and governance mechanisms needed to sustain results. The ideal candidate brings strong process acumen, a track record of demonstrated FLIGHT DECK impact, hands-on experience enabling AI and data-driven solutions, and the ability to operate with limited guidance in a highly collaborative environment. This role also carries clear responsibility for training, communication, and measurable impact associated with transformation efforts.

This role is critical to helping Future Vertical Lift teams simplify how work gets done, accelerate adoption of better processes and digital capabilities, and improve business performance through disciplined transformation. Success in this role will be measured not only by ideas generated, but by training completed, adoption achieved, and measurable impact delivered.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

Process Transformation & FLIGHT DECK Leadership

  • Lead transformation of critical FVL business processes using FLIGHT DECK principles, process rigor, and continuous improvement methods.

  • Partner with process owners and business leaders to identify priority opportunities, map current-state workflows, define future-state processes, and implement sustainable improvements.

  • Conduct value stream analysis to identify waste, reduce complexity, and improve execution effectiveness.

  • Establish operating mechanisms, ownership, and performance measures to ensure improvements are sustained over time.

AI, Digital & Data Enablement

  • Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities to apply AI, automation, analytics, and digital solutions to improve FVL execution and decision-making.

  • Lead the development and deployment of practical digital and AI-enabled solutions, from ideation and proof of concept through implementation and adoption.

  • Partner with DT and business stakeholders to improve the data fabric / trusted data foundation needed to enable scalable analytics and AI solutions. This includes data quality, accessibility, lineage, semantic structures, and governance alignment. This is an enhancement of the draft’s data pipeline, semantic layer, cataloging, and lineage responsibilities

  • Ensure deployed solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with business priorities.

Training, Communication & Adoption

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or related field ; advanced degree preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in roles such as Program Manager, Project Manager, Product Manager, or Engineering Manager within the Aerospace Industry.

  • Strong process acumen and demonstrated success improving complex workflows, operating rhythms, and business execution.

  • Demonstrated FLIGHT DECK impact , including measurable results in process improvement, standardization, waste reduction, or operational performance.

  • Experience identifying and deploying AI, analytics, automation, or other digital solutions in support of business outcomes. Your draft includes AI/ML implementation experience and familiarity with LLMs, computer vision, and predictive analytics

  • Experience working with data structures, semantic models, data quality, lineage, or data governance to support scalable digital capabilities.

  • Ability to connect process, people, data, and technology into practical execution plans.

  • Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex topics and present clear recommendations.

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated environments is preferred.

The starting base pay range for this position is $146,000.00 - $195,000.00 – USD Annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 8/31/26.​
