Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, our Defense Systems has an opening for a Sr Principal Systems Engineer (I&T). This position is located in Orlando, FL.
As a Sr Principal Engineer Systems (I&T) at Northrop Grumman, you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Cross-Domain Handling of Releasable Data (CHORD) portfolio. CHORD is a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) two-domain Cross Domain Solution (CDS). The CHORD portfolio comprises multiple contract awards and with various customers.

Roles/Responsibilities:
You will serve as an integral member of the Integration and Test team and will be responsible for collaborating with the systems, software, gateware and infrastructure teams to develop test plans and test procedures to verify requirements and system functionality.
Use your experience with test automation (e.g. Eggplant).
You will need to be innovative, capable of multitasking, possess strong test automation knowledge, and are adaptable to fast-paced environments and agile methodologies.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) field and 8 years of related technical experience; Master’s degree in a STEM field and 6 years of related technical experience, or PHD in a STEM field and 4 year of related technical experience.
A current DoD Secret Clearance.
5 or more years’ experience testing software applications.
Demonstrated experience with developing automated tests (preferably Eggplant).
Experience with developing formal test plans, test procedures, and test reports to verify and validate requirements.
Knowledge and experience with Agile principles, tools and implementation.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Proficiency working in a Linux environment (preferably RHEL).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience developing scripts in python to automate manual processes.
Experience using software version control (e.g. Git) and code respositories (e.g. GitLab).
Proven experience in hardware‑software integration, including the deployment, configuration, and validation of software on custom hardware platforms.
Proficiency in analyzing complex systems, systematically identifying and logging issues.
Experience with documenting configuration changes using established change‑control and tracking processes.
