Summary
Job Description
- Responsible for the full life cycle of recruiting- sourcing a strong pipeline of qualified candidates in addition to screening, scheduling, interviewing, and presenting and negotiating job offers to candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to meet staffing needs, ensure quality of selection and timeliness of hire.
- Pre-screen potential candidates for full-time employee openings; assess candidates’ qualifications and culture fit through a combination of behavioral based interviews and competency-based evaluations.
- Prepare salary offers in collaboration with compensation specialists and HR Business Partner.
- Upholds legal requirements and company hiring policies, and coaches and guides managers accordingly.
- Proactive tracking of progress and all work in applicant tracking system to ensure metrics are captured and goals are met.
- Develop strong partnerships with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to understand and meet business hiring needs. Ensure high quality candidate selection and timely university graduate and intern hiring.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years or master’s degree with a minimum of 2 years related experience in recruiting/sourcing; in lieu of a degree, 8 years of related experience.
- 2-4 years of recruiting/sourcing experience through corporate recruiting
Preferred Skills:
- Master’s degree is a plus
- Experience using analytical skills to drive results through use of metrics
- Communication skills, demonstrating ability to effectively communicate across multiple internal and external groups (peers, internal management and executive levels, and candidates)
- Strong analytical, time management, and prioritization skills
- Experience with HR applications and Applicant Tracking Systems and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience in Engineering or IT recruiting
- Exercised effective influence, consulting, and negotiating skills.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, customer service environment.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $76,500-$141,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $67,000-$124,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
