Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a Software Engineer for the APDL Program, youll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing and developing software solutions to support U.S. Navy ship platforms. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:
- Experience with Java and / or JavaScript (Vue.js)
- Experience with PostgreSQL and / or Oracle.

- Understanding of core software engineering concepts and the software product lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to trouble shoot complex issues.

- Experience working in collaborative team environments, including using collaboration tools.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
- Basic knowledge & understanding of some or all the following items is desired but not required:
- Windows, Linux, Jboss / Wildfly, Versioning Control solutions (i.e., GIT, SVN), GitLab, Docker, Jira.

Combined Salary Range
USD $75,946.00 - USD $84,253.00 /Yr.
