SAIC is seeking a SIGINT Ground Mission Management Systems Engineer to support the LANDMARK AOS Prime SETA program in Chantilly, VA. LANDMARK AOS supports the NRO’s Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED) and delivers high‑impact engineering expertise across the customer’s Ground Enterprise.

As the SIGINT Ground Mission Management Systems Engineer, you will provide critical technical and acquisition leadership across the full life cycle of mission management capabilities within the SIGINT Ground Systems Program Office (SGSPO). You will help guide Government leadership through complex engineering, architectural, and programmatic decisions that directly influence the evolution of the SIGINT Ground Enterprise.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in SIGINT mission management, agile software development, and enterprise‑scale integration. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor in shaping, assessing, and implementing mission management capabilities that enable the Government to deliver a resilient, scalable, and fully integrated mission thread aligned to rapidly evolving operational demands.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Guide Mission Management — Advise Government leadership on SIGINT Ground acquisition strategy, program risk, portfolio priorities, and enterprise‑level decisions.
  • Oversee Technical Execution — Provide authoritative oversight of developer activities to ensure alignment with requirements, architecture, and mission needs.
  • Analyze Mission Threads — Assess baselines, dependencies, schedules, and risks to support enterprise planning and execution readiness.
  • Evaluate Designs & Proposals — Review proposals, system designs, technical reports, and program plans for feasibility, cost realism, and mission alignment.
  • Drive Requirements Engineering — Define and maintain system‑level requirements with full traceability across the software lifecycle.
  • Enable Agile Delivery — Provide senior technical guidance to ensure agile development produces an integrated, mission‑aligned capability.
  • Assess Integration Readiness — Monitor integration and development progress to verify readiness for enterprise test events and architectural alignment.
  • Shape Future Architecture — Recommend architectural improvements to address evolving mission needs, optimize cost/performance, and guide long‑term evolution.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related technical discipline, and 9 or more years of relevant experience (or a Master’s degree with 7 or more years of experience).
  • Current and Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
  • SIGINT Mission Expertise — Experience in SIGINT mission management or closely related mission areas, with familiarity across current and emerging SIGINT satellite and ground collection systems.
  • Technical SIGINT Knowledge — Strong understanding of SIGINT system functions, including C2, collection, mission processing, dissemination, and compliance policies.
  • Acquisition Support — Demonstrated experience supporting Government acquisition activities such as requirements definition, technical evaluations, readiness assessments, and program documentation management.
  • Systems Engineering Documentation — Hands‑on experience drafting, maintaining, and managing systems engineering artifacts and program documentation.
  • Clear Technical Communication — Ability to clearly convey complex technical topics to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration — Proven ability to lead, collaborate, and mentor within cross‑functional engineering teams.
  • Adaptability — Strong ability to operate effectively in environments with shifting priorities and evolving mission needs.
