Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Configuration Analysis Manager 2 in support of the Sentinel Program. This position can be located in

Roy, UT. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What You Will Get To Do:

This is a functional home room (FHR) manager position, involving balancing both the overall functional oversight and management of a configuration analyst group (typically 8-12 employees) while maintaining a technical baseline of performance on program work. The candidate will spend ~20% of their time on functional/organizational support and ~80% of their time on a mix of technical program work from current or future tasking.

The successful applicant will lead a team of configuration analysts, leveraging their experience in one or more of the following specific skills: Hardware Configuration Management, Change Control and Board Administration, and Data Management.

In addition to current program role (80%), the functional homeroom duties (20%) are as follows:
• Provide people leadership for a configuration analyst organization, to include performance management (including performance reviews), career development, staffing, and merit planning as part of the Strategic Deterrent Systems business unit Functional Homeroom
• Support employee development; employee inclusion, engagement, mentoring and career development; employee training and identification and training of skills required to execute programs
• Provide ownership of and direction of processes used in the functional group
• Support staffing and workload forecast; Recruiting, sourcing, onboarding, and performance management
• Support the Department Manager in requested functional tasking

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related configuration and data management experience, or 6 years of related experience with Master's degree, or an additional 4 years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Must have an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope (<6 years), with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
- Must have a current role with Sentinel technical scope.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

- Experience with NG configuration management SW tools such as; JIRA, Sharepoint, DMDS, and MS Office.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams and/or organizations to achieve a common goal
- Demonstrated communication skills, team building skills
- Active Top Secret security clearance

Primary Level Salary Range: $115,000.00 - $172,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
