SAIC is looking for a Software Engineer to support the Next Generation Jammer (NGJ) program at Point Mugu, California including support equipment and simulators. 

Job Duties:

  • Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs application software.
  • Conducts analysis and collaborates with subject matter experts in the planning, design, development, and utilization ofelectronic data processing systems for information storage, processing, presentation, manipulation, display, or reporting.
  • End product may be special use, customized, or commercial software.
  • Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, outputrequirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs anddevelops autonomous services, desktop applications, web applications, scripts, and utility programs.
  • Ensures software standards are met.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's and five (5) years or more experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with Wind River VxWorks, Green Hills Integrity.
  • Must have C# and C++ experience.
  • Must have SQL database development experience.
  • Must have the ability to understand and work with code developed by other developers.
  • Must have the ability to work independently.
  • Must have an active Secret security clearance.

Preferred skills:

  • Prefer EW, embedded systems and VxWorks experience but not mandatory.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
