The Senior MBD Engineer will be responsible for the creation and implementation of model-based solution in our internal and external NPI, LRIP and high-rate sites. You will define parameters and work plans to meet objectives and resolve issues.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies that implement model-based manufacturing / model-based enterprise throughout the entire PLM lifecycle
  • Work with our outside software suppliers to enable software enhancements as needed to ensure success.
  • Identify and communicate to leadership schedule pressures and implement plans to mitigate the impact of those pressures on program deliverables.
  • Participate and lead teams assigned to address specific organizational initiatives.
  • Share engineering information and promote open dialogue.
  • Support preparation of invention disclosures to protect the technology that provides a competitive advantage to the business.
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks are consistent with engineering policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing) + Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
  • Deep experience in metrology (7+ years)
