ABOUT THE TEAM
We are looking for a detail-oriented corporate Senior Manager to lead our travel & expense programs and ensure an efficient corporate travel program that meets the fast-paced nature of our business. You will implement and enforce effective corporate travel policies and monitor traveling activity and programs. You will oversee the strategy of the company’s travel program and provide program and system enhancements. You’ll work closely with the Finance and Accounting team to ensure that travel spend is budgeted and charged correctly, and also with the People team to ensure that candidates, new hires, and existing employees have a seamless travel experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead the Travel & Expense program at Anduril - managing 3 FTEs (one primarily focused on travel, and 2 primarily focused on expense and expense review)
- Advise and collaborate with the Senior Executive team on travel spend analysis, travel policies and program enhancements
- Execute global strategy while adapting to regional variations and business needs
- Establish operational excellence through strong processes, controls, and stakeholder support
- Partner with Executive Assistants to ensure they have the resources to manager their executives’ travel. Prioritize ad-hoc support when needed for Executives and EAs
- Lead vendor management & strategic negotiations with hotels, airlines, rental car agencies and for meetings & events.
- Manage escalations with stellar communication skills
- Split your time between travel management and expense management, including but not limited to:
- Supporting individual travelers when questions/issues arise
- Supporting with unused airline ticket management
- Reviewing and approving a subset of employee expenses and reimbursements
- Supporting with month end close, ensuring employee expenses are completed and approved in a timely manner to reduce the need for month end accruals
- Managing Business Travel Accidents (BTA) and Auto Insurance (both active/new claims and renewal of these policies)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience as corporate travel & expense manager for 5+ years
- Extensive understanding of global travel & expense operations: policy governance, compliance, audit, and tax implications across regions
- Deep knowledge of travel & expense platforms and related finance systems
- Strong grasp of global and regional regulatory requirements, including local tax laws and statutory reporting
- Familiarity with cross-functional processes, including Accounts Payable, Risk Management, Treasury, Procurement, HR, and Audit
- Knowledge of change management, policy deployment, and best practices in global service delivery
- Advanced analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement
- Good knowledge of MS Office and CTM/GDS solutions

- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Egencia & Ramp (our travel & expense platforms)
- Experience overseeing audits of travel transactions and enforcing policies to ensure responsible spending
- Experience managing a travel program at a government contractor - knowledge of government allowability
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
