The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Joint Program Coordinator to join their Joint Programs organization in Portland, OR.

The ideal candidate will champion the organization's mission, recognizing its history and striving to transform its future. This individual will be proactive, an engaged self-starter, with the capability to work independently and collaboratively. Program coordinators are critical links to our customer base, so the capability and desire to establish a robust network across their assigned space is a must.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform activities to plan, design, deliver and maintain Joint Program projects to improve the technical competence of the workforce

  • Establish partnerships within Boeing, the unions, and the external community to provide services as chartered by Boeing bargaining agreements​

  • Act as a communications focal for the Joint Programs

  • Communicate Joint Program products and services to represented employees, union staff, Boeing management and external organizations

  • Partner with employees performing activities to plan, design, deliver and maintain Joint Program projects to improve the technical competence of the workforce

  • Develop and complete project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

  • Acquire resources for projects/processes and lead process improvements

  • Provide technical management of suppliers

  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Influence change across multiple teams

  • Travel within the Puget Sound for program requirements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience leading, coaching, hiring, and developing people including those who are not your direct reports

  • 5+ years of experience managing projects, tasks, or other critical activities

  • 5+ years of experience in facilitating or helping to lead process improvement activities

  • 3+ years of experience in cross-functional leadership, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships and proficiency in written and verbal communication

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role

  • 1+ years of experience delivering training modules

  • Experience maintaining content on an organizations web portal/website

  • Experience working with collective bargaining agreements and/or union-represented workforce​

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $104,550 - $141,450
