The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Industrial Security Specialist to join the Enterprise Classified Security Assessment Team in Arlington, VA; Berkeley, MO; Charleston, SC; Colorado Springs, CO; Dallas, TX; Daytona Beach, FL; El Segundo, CA; Fairfax, VA; Fort Walton Beach, FL; Herndon, VA; Huntington Beach, CA; Huntsville, AL; Jacksonville, FL; Layton, UT; Mesa, AZ; Oklahoma City, OK; Ridley Park, PA; Saint Charles, MO ; Berkeley, MO; Titusville, FL.

The selected candidate will be a security professional with extensive experience in Communications Security (COMSEC) account management and in performing security program assessments and compliance reviews. The specialist will conduct COMSEC assessments to evaluate compliance with applicable laws, policies, and internal controls, perform trend analysis, and monitor corrective action plans. Duties also include supporting risk assessments across the Equipment Control System (ECS) enterprise, providing input to long-range business plans to inform financial planning for ECS activities that reduce risk and achieve compliance, serving as the ECS focal point for COMSEC audits, and supporting internal investigations. Travel is required.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Executes Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements

  • Identifies deficiencies, develops and implements corrective action

  • Conducts administrative inquiries on personnel, processes and situations in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements

  • Protects government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures

  • Develops, implements and administers security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on large and/or highly complex programs

  • Contributes to enterprise Integrated Product Team (IPT) and participates in the review cycle and decision-making process for enterprise export compliance, procedures (PROs), Business Process Instructions (BPI's) and Desktop Instructions (DI's)

  • Provides innovation and creativity into security awareness training and education program (briefings, bulletins and visual reminders) to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information

  • Completes tasks toward long-range goals and objectives

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or have you been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years

  • Ability to obtain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Programs (SAP)

  • 10+ years of experience do you have with Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI) equipment and associated keying material

  • 10+ years of experience in government security programs

  • Ability to travel up to 50-75% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience with Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) and completion of COMSEC Account Manager Course (CAMC)

  • 10+ years of experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams, and outlook)

  • 10+ years of experience with oral and written communications skills

  • Ability to obtain a successful US government polygraph examination

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $140,250 – $203,550
