Role Overview
The Senior Global Security Technology Manager is a key member of the GE Aerospace Global Security team, responsible for leading the design, implementation, integration, and ongoing support of enterprise physical security systems. This role contributes to long-term strategic planning and helps drive global security standards, programs, and infrastructure across multiple facilities worldwide.
Reporting to the Senior Physical Security Director , this leader will ensure physical security technology and related processes effectively protect employees, customers, visitors, classified information, and company assets. The role partners closely with cross-functional teams including Digital Technology, Cyber Security, Facilities, Human Resources , and external vendors and integrators to deliver secure, compliant, and resilient physical security solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the implementation, configuration, integration, and lifecycle support of enterprise physical security systems, including:
- access control
- badging
- video surveillance
- visitor management
- intrusion detection
- related security applications
- Administer and optimize system-level user management, including provisioning, deprovisioning, access level maintenance, permissions management, and routine system health checks.
- Execute and support analytics, system integrations, and automation related to physical security platforms, including interfaces with IT, cyber, HR, and other enterprise systems.
- Interpret floor plans, technical drawings, and system schematics to support the design, review, and validation of security infrastructure and device placement.
- Provide incident and emergency support for enterprise security systems during investigations, outages, and security events.
- Develop, maintain, and implement physical security standards, technical guidelines, playbooks, and training materials aligned with GE Aerospace policies and external regulatory requirements.

Ensure compliance with physical security and facility build-out requirements, including applicable standards such as:
- National Industrial Security Program (NISP)
- Intelligence Community Directives (ICD)
- UL 2050
- Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)
- Support the construction and oversight of secured and classified spaces, ensuring technical security designs meet accreditation and compliance requirements.
- Lead or support security-related projects involving contract guard services, system deployments, technology upgrades, and badging operations across multiple sites and time zones.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external integrators, vendors, and service providers to ensure effective delivery and support.
- Prepare and present reports on project objectives, milestones, budgets, and risks, while escalating issues and driving resolution with leadership.
- Train and coach internal stakeholders on security systems and applications to promote adoption of standards and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent advanced degree.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in physical security systems administration, technical security management, or a related field.
- Experience with enterprise physical security systems and hardware, including access control, badging, video surveillance, and intrusion detection.
- Experience supporting the construction and oversight of secured and classified spaces.
- Demonstrated expertise with Lenel OnGuard ; certification required.
- Experience using SQL for reporting, data queries, and system analytics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite , including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to read and interpret floor plans, diagrams, and system schematics.
- Understanding of security-related regulatory and compliance standards, including NISP, ICD, UL 2050, and CMMC.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance .
- Ability to handle sensitive and classified information with discretion and integrity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and sound judgment skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead complex programs or projects.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple cultures and time zones.
Preferred Qualifications
- Avigilon and March video surveillance systems administrator competency.
- ASIS Physical Security Professional (PSP) , Certified Protection Professional (CPP) , or similar industry certification.
- Operational experience in security management.
- Familiarity with global and international security regulations and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage complex, multi-faceted initiatives with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, program documentation, and executive-level communication skills.
- Self-motivated, self-directed, flexible, and effective in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
