Job Description

The USMC MQ-9 CLS Resource and Training Coordinator serves as the Site Manager’s subject matter expert on the USMC’s Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA) system and primary point of contact for employee travel to/from/between work locations, accountability of assigned administrative resources, and coordination of customer training requests. This position has a “rotational” work schedule, traveling from the home of record to the host country and performing approximately four (4) months of work followed by return travel to the home of record for approximately four (4) months of time off, then repeating. While in the host country, the typical work schedule is twelve (12) hours per day and seven (7) days per week.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the Program Management Office to update movement schedules and maintain visibility of inbound/outbound employees.
  • Conduct and/or schedule pickup and drop-off of employees at commercial/military travel hubs.
  • Monitor base access requirements and provide on-site support to minimize delays in required processing tasks.
  • Conduct arrival and departure processing of employees to ensure a smooth transition of the workforce.
  • Review training requirements of assigned employees using company and government training systems, coordinate completion actions with individual employees, and provide periodic status updates to the site’s leadership team.
  • Review maintenance training records for both Contractor and Government personnel scheduled to conduct maintenance on assigned aircraft. Provide key details to site leadership to enable appropriate scheduling of daily maintenance assignments.
  • Provide training and assistance on Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA).
  • Conduct maintenance data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement in maintenance documentation and reporting.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active Secret US Government clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • High School Diploma or have completed relevant military and/or vocational technical school curriculum.
  • 2 to 3 years of progressively more responsible administrative work experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with the Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA) maintenance management system.
  • Knowledge of COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2E (NAMP) maintenance documentation and record-keeping requirements.
  • Excellent knowledge of administrative procedures and systems such as Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Able to lift, carry and/or wear Military Issued Equipment in excess of 50 pounds for extended periods.
  • Capable of working without direct supervision.
  • Communicate well with others, both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Current/active State Issued Driver’s License.
  • Able to travel on CONUS/OCONUS deployments.
  • Meet all OCONUS deployment criteria, to include pre-deployment medical screening, as a condition of employment.
  • Have a valid U.S. Passport with a minimum of two years remaining with at least two facing pairs (four total) of blank Visa pages.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in a relevant career field.
  • Completion of the following courses: Logs and Records Configuration Management for Organizational and Intermediate Activities (C-555-0059), Configuration Management Course (C555-2018) and Data Analysis School
  • Prior experience supporting Naval Aviation maintenance programs
  • Experience with engine management tracking and acceptance/transfer inspection documentation.
  • Deployment experience.
  • Prior experience as a Defense Contractor.
