Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform functional tests (electrical, helium, and leak tests) to ensure accuracy and functionality.

  • Performs visual and basic measurement inspection of parts following assembly steps, cuts, strips, and crimps wire as required, operates test equipment, and performs weight measuring as needed.

  • Collaborate with team members to move parts and work orders through various departments.

  • Train with Certified Repairman to gain Part 145 skills.

  • Read and interpret dimensional measurements using calipers and scales.

  • Follow written work instructions, processes, and procedures.

  • Utilize a wide variety of hand and power tools.

  • Learn and adhere to Part 145 Repair Station rules and regulations.

  • Understand traceability of parts per Air Agency Regulations.

  • Review FAA and Customer documents to understand processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED.

  • One (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Basic computer, math, and ERP skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Self-directed, motivated, and able to work in a team environment.

  • Willing and able to frequently lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 25 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.

  • Willing and able to stand for extended periods.

  • Willing and able to work with hazardous materials and cross-train.

  • Subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with DOT and FAA regulations.

  • This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, with experience in soldering, electronics manufacturing, assembly, and brazing, along with training in dimensional and electrical aspects.

  • Excellent attendance history, ability to produce error-free products, strives to meet or exceed job requirements, and possesses prior mechanical knowledge.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
