Job Description
Role Overview
- Own inbound material flow, receiving accuracy, and warehouse intake processes.
- Ensure all material is received correctly, inspected, documented, and system-accurate.
- Serve as the control point for supplier delivery quality and traceability.
Responsibilities
- Receiving Execution

- Receive and process incoming shipments in ERP/WMS systems.
- Perform 3-way match (PO, packing slip, physical receipt).
- Execute receiving transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
- Inspection & Traceability
-
- Perform receiving inspection for quantity, condition, and documentation.
- Ensure proper capture of:
- Certifications
- Packing slips
- Traceability (lot/serial where required)
- Identify and escalate nonconforming material.
- Scanning & Documentation

- Utilize barcode scanners and systems for material intake and tracking.
- Maintain complete and accurate digital records of all receipts.
- Warehouse Management & Visual Controls

- Manage inbound staging, putaway, and warehouse organization.
- Maintain visual warehouse systems (clear locations, labeling, flow paths).
- Ensure efficient dock-to-stock material flow.
- Metrics & Performance

- Track and improve:
- Receiving accuracy (%)
- Dock-to-stock cycle time
- Discrepancy rate
- Drive continuous improvement in receiving processes.
- Track and improve:
- Cross-Functional Coordination

- Coordinate with procurement, quality, and production teams.
- Resolve supplier and internal discrepancies quickly.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years in receiving, warehouse, or material control.
- Experience with ERP/WMS and barcode scanning systems.
- Strong attention to detail and process discipline.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in regulated or traceability-driven environments.
- Familiarity with ITAR/FAR/DFARS requirements.
- Experience with inspection processes and quality systems.
