Position Summary

The Quotation Specialist develops high-quality maintenance proposals by translating customer requirements into clear scopes of work, coordinating costing, and creating competitive pricing. With your technical aircraft maintenance background and strong understanding of business aviation, you help position Jet Aviation's proposals as industry-leading for both routine and non-routine tasks. You will collaborate closely with Sales and contribute to continuous process improvements to support global objectives and drive revenue growth.

Your mission

• Provide operational support to Sales Management, acting as a shared service center for quotations and proposal development
• Develop detailed scopes of work in close collaboration with Global Sales and customers
• Support Basel BOS and Jet Aviation site Planning teams in collecting labor, material estimates, schedules, and slot availability
• Prepare and release quotations to customers or Global Sales representatives
• Support technical discussions and commercial negotiations with customers
• Coordinate tender and bid processes
• Carry out additional tasks as requested by Management related to the role

Your profile

• Sales & Business Bachelor/Master's degree
• Proven experience in Sales, Quotation, or Proposal Management within an MRO or aviation environment
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in aviation in a comparable role (e.g. MRO Sales, Billing & Project Sales Administration, Planning, Supply Chain Management, or Production)
• Experience in MRO Planning or MRO Project Supervision is a strong advantage
• Solid understanding of the aerospace industry, OEMs, and applicable regulatory frameworks
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a global environment
• Fluency in English is required; German and/or French is an asset
