Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Project Management/ Principal Project Management Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

This position is 100% onsite and located in Clearfield/Layton UT.

This position is seeking a highly motivated, strong communicator to join the Global Supply Chain Program Management (GSCPM) team.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, document, and maintain formal supply‑and‑demand plans that align with program goals, business‑unit objectives, and corporate priorities.
  • Identify critical material gaps early, develop corrective actions, and recover program schedules and budgets.
  • Continuously assess shifting program needs; prioritize tasks to meet changing delivery timelines and resource constraints.
  • Draft and maintain detailed project plans that integrate supply‑chain milestones with overall program schedules, risk registers, and opportunity logs.
  • Drive end‑to‑end delivery execution across multiple campuses, ensuring that final‑leg shipments meet timing, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Ensure supplier production and shipping schedules with program, business‑unit, and corporate targets; negotiate adjustments to minimize bottlenecks.
  • Identify, document, and mitigate supply‑chain risks; capture and pursue improvement opportunities that enhance cost, schedule, or performance.
  • Partner with PMO, engineering, manufacturing, finance, and other campus teams to resolve issues that span multiple sites and functions.
  • Prepare and deliver concise briefings for internal and external decision‑makers, including manufacturing center of excellence reviews, leadership boards, and customer meetings.

Basic Qualifications (Level 2)

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree with 2 years, Master’s degree, or in lieu of degree 6 years of experience.
  • Experience must be in the following: Supply Chain, Project Management, Proposals and/or Capture Efforts, Resource Planning, Accounting, Program Management, Program Scheduling, Program Cost Analysis, Finance, Business Management or Material Requirements Planning.
  • Must have an ACTIVE DoD Secret security clearance and ability to obtain/maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable time deemed by business needs
  • Experience with SAP or related application software (i.e. ERP, MRP)

Basic Qualifications (Level 3)

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years, Master’s degree with 3 years, or in lieu of degree 9 years of experience.
  • Experience must be in the following: Supply Chain, Project Management, Proposals and/or Capture Efforts, Resource Planning, Accounting, Program Management, Program Scheduling, Program Cost Analysis, Finance, Business Management or Material Requirements Planning.
  • Must have an ACTIVE DoD Secret security clearance and ability to obtain/maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable time deemed by business needs
  • Experience with SAP or related application software (i.e. ERP, MRP)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of SAP Experience
  • History of Inventory and Material Management
  • Ability to work fast-paced environment

Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
