Project Overview:

Bechtel is leading the charge to deliver the future of energy innovation as we embark with our partner TerraPower to construct the Natrium® Demonstration Plant. With Bechtel’s unparalleled expertise in engineering, procurement, and construction, we are driving the realization of this visionary project, shaping the landscape of sustainable energy for generations to come.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will assist in providing professional financial and economic support services. You will conduct complex research on finance and investments, assist in preparing and producing regulatory reports, ad hoc financial reports, speeches, charts, and studies. Your research, analysis, and organized methods will contribute to effective business decisions through precise financial data interpretation. #LI-AM3

Major Responsibilities:

• Provides professional accounting support services. 
• Extracts and performs preliminary analysis of technical data. 
• Works with transactional groups (e.g., Accounts Payable and Receivables and Client billings) to assist in common problems across projects that may be candidates for work process improvements. 
• Assists with audit queries (internal and external). 
• Provides financial analysis and coordination on GBU projects.  
• Provides financial support to GBU project accounting management.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Requires Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a major in accounting preferred  (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Practical knowledge of accounting processes, including invoice processing, expense accounting, and reconciliation of vendor and clearing accounts
• Working knowledge of accounting standards sufficient to ensure accurate transaction posting and financial records
• Very good command of the English language, including basic accounting and financial terminology
• Experience working with accounting systems and T&E tools (e.g. SAP, SAP Concur, ERP systems) is highly desirable.
• Hands‑on experience in operational accounting processes (Accounts Payable, Travel & Expense, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial data and documentation
• Good organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to handle recurring tasks and monthly deadlines
• Ability to communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and external vendors in a professional environment
