Program Representative – Site

Responsibilities for this Position

This position is located at the Steel Fab Facility in Florence, S.C.

The COLUMBIA Program is Electric Boat's largest and most important construction program, and you can be part of the team that leads it! Electric Boat Florence is seeking individuals who are ready to work in a fast-paced production environment.

The Program Representative will focus on all site construction activities to oversee and provide guidance to support overall ship construction objectives related to the safety, quality, cost, schedule and process improvements objectives.

Program representative responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Validating sequencing and scheduling logic for critical path activities
• Providing oversight for Operations Management Team on the priority work for the associated build plans
• Maintaining real-time tracking of WIP (Work-in-Progress)
• Interfacing with planning to ensure material availability or create alternate construction plans to support
• Clearing stop work (CN, material, QA, etc.) on critical path activities
• Scheduling and executing site assembly shipments in accordance with applicable procedures
• Ensuring offloads are coordinated in accordance with applicable procedures
• Providing rapid coordination support on emergent design or construction issues
• Interfacing with Design and Change Management teams for resolution
• Providing walk-throughfeedback sharing observations from walk-through

In addition to tight collaboration with Operations, the Program representative will work closely with the site manager, as well as Operations, Engineering and Design, Quality Assurance, all areas of Planning (where applicable) to resolve items affecting construction to ensure overall CLB Program objectives are being maintained and improved ship over ship.

Required:

• High School diploma or GED
• 2+ years in project construction / manufacturing experience
• 1+ years of welding knowledge and/or experience in several other trade disciplines (e.g., sound dampening, electrical, steel, and machining)
• Applicant must possess or be able to secure secret or higher DOD clearance

Preferred:

• Project management / leadership experience
• Modular Construction/Outfitting experience
• CLB construction experience
• Team Center experience
• EB Planning experience
• College degree in related field
