Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking Software Engineers to join our team supporting the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) Program.
This position would be based in Colorado Springs, Colorado with 50% travel to DARC site 1 located in Australia. This role will be a critical member of the Software deployment team that will be responsible for deploying, debugging, and implementing corrective actions to ensure a stable and operable DARC system. These positions are expected to travel up to 60 days at a time and act as a SW subject matter experts during formal integration and testing of the DARC System.
Job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Install and deploy DARC SW on the DARC System.
Document and report back on problem or deficiency reports.
Collaborate with the SW team located back in Colorado Springs to effectively troubleshoot, and debug SW identified SW issues.
Support ongoing SW development and feature integration for future DARC SW releases while in Colorado Spring.
Basic Qualifications
Active DoD Secret clearance at the time of application
5 years with a Bachelors in Science, 3 years with a Masters in Science degree, and 1 years with the PHD
Development Experience in C++, Java & Javascript
Ability to work with MATLAB
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Must have Security+ (SEC+) Certification
Expert in debugging
Familiarity with Linux, RedHat and Windows
Familiar with Agile principles and use of JIRA and Confluence
Ability to travel up to 50% OCONUS
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Digital Signal Processing
Experience with Rada Signal Processing
Recent experience with OCONUS deployments and working onsite as part of a large integrated team
