Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as a Principal Logistics Management Analyst (Parts Expediter) based out of Port Hueneme, CA.

What You’ll get to Do:

The Principal Logistics Management Analyst (Parts Expediter) acts as the liaison between the MPSF Maintenance, Logistics and the Supply teams.

This position supports all MPSF locations as required and will obtain access to the US Navy’s Unclassified information networks, MPSF Maintenance Microsoft Teams collaboration database/website, MFOM AWN, RSupply, LogiQuest, One Touch Support and any other database accounts required to perform position duties. You'll have a complete understanding of the navy supply system and travel to various MPSF sites as needed.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Serve as the materials Expediter for the Mission Package Support Facility (MPSF) responsible for scheduling, ordering parts and consumables from Navy Supply System to repair and maintain Mission Package (MP).

  • Maintain an accurate and updated status log of MP sustainment maintenance parts and material requisitions for work centers under their cognizance.

  • Attend weekly reviews to brief maintenance parts and material requisition status in support of MP sustainment maintenance.

  • Perform initial parts and material research prior to reaching out to the MP Government Logistics team.

  • Request items not listed on Allowance Parts List and Allowance Equipage List as required.

  • Serve as the focal point for all open purchase requests across MPSF sites.

  • Enter all MP Logistics approved maintenance related material requests into RSupply under the appropriate Dept/Div/WC for requisitioning as required.

  • Provide input/ support to Mission Module Restricted Availabilities (MMRA) as required.

  • Provide input/ support to Mission Module Maintenance Engineer (MMME) as required.

  • Coordinate scheduling and track the transportation of parts, kits and assemblies as required.

  • Interface with NGMS, NAVSUP WSS, OEM and other Government logistics personnel to support logistics tasks and functions.

  • Serve as the logistics training coordinator across all MPSF sites; develop and schedule periodic training, Personnel Qualification standards (PQS), On the Job Training (OJT), etc. 

  • Provide input/ support to Mission Module Maintenance Engineer (MMME) as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5 year’s experience; or Master's Degree with 3 year's experience. An additional 4 year’s experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.

  • Experience using NAVY supply system.

  • Experience using NAVY systems such as Onetouch, R-SUPPLY, MFOM, Logiquest, ETC.

  • Possess working knowledge of HAZMAT/ HAZWASTE

  • Ability to obtain and maintain equipment licensing including but not limited to Forklift, Reach lift, Electric Cart, etc in support of various Mission Package evolutions.

  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, communications skills, be self-motivated, understand and exhibit a strong teamwork ethic and approach.

  • Proven ability to work under limited supervision, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail.

  • Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite - Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word.

  • Ability to travel to other MPSF locations up to 20% of the year.

  • US Citizenship and an interim U.S. Government Secret clearance is required to start.

 Preferred Qualifications

  • A current/active U.S. Government Secret clearance.

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a small team, fostering collaboration and accountability in achieving operational goals.

  • Material management experience, especially in the defense industry.

  • NAVY Logistics Specialist/Storekeeper background.

  • Skilled and comfortable communicating and interfacing with high level leadership.

Primary Level Salary Range: $85,600.00 - $128,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
