Are you ready to be part of a team that powers the future of aerospace innovation? GE Aerospace is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will play a critical part in assembling and testing electro-mechanical systems that meet rigorous military specifications. Your expertise will ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and precision in every step of the manufacturing process.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Performs a series of steps in the manufacturing process of electro-mechanical system setup to run a specific program, in accordance with military specifications; ability to work on various complex jobs within home department and also training on basic jobs outside of home department.

• Performs basic tasks such as electro-mechanical set up, utilizing cables, connectors, and test equipment.

• Applies liquid or solid bonding agents. Operates ovens to complete bonding cycle. Controls conditions of heat, pressure, and timing by setting and operating various controls according to the specifications for the materials and the bonding agent being used.

• Strictly follows written specifications and operation sheet in the completion of the assigned tasks.

• Maintains records of test, quality, and specification data

• Performs other routine setups within fairly similar situations as required.

• Exercises care to ensure that each step in the process is completed correctly and that the part or finished product meets the quality specifications

• Provides training and mentoring for other employees as required

• Utilizes written or visual instructions involving use of quantitative information from specifications, graphs, pictures, documentation, dials, gages, etc.

• Performs duties using a variety of small tools and related production equipment

• Provides written and/or oral communications concerning a variety of situations

• Keeps workstation, tools, and equipment in a neat and orderly manner.

• Understands and complies with all Company, safety rules and regulations

• Engages and participates in a self-directed teaming environment.

• Adheres to strict chemical handling and disposal processes

• This is a 2nd shift position working 4pm-12:30 am Sunday-Thursday

What You’ll Bring:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; IPC-A-610 Certification.

• Experience: 1-3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a self-directed teaming environment.

• Skills: Proficiency in using hand tools, interpreting specifications and drawings, performing inspections, and basic computer skills. Strong dexterity and hand-eye coordination are essential.

• This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.

The base pay range for this position is $27 - $29/hr. plus a 10% night shift bonus, depending on experience. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 7/16/2026.
