Network Engineer (Wired, Wireless, Voice)

Job Description
The Opportunity:
Join a high-impact engineering team supporting the standardization and modernization of information and infrastructure capabilities for the US Army. As a Network Engineer, you’ll play a hands-on role in designing, implementing, and securing wired, wireless and voice systems.
From conducting site surveys to implementing innovative designs, you’ll contribute to delivering high-performance, secure and modern network solutions that enhance mission readiness across Army CONUS locations.
Responsibilities:
Multi-disciplined network engineer with experience across wired, wireless voice solutions
Conduct site surveys, document findings and brief customer on site conditions
Analyze site survey data and develop solutions that are innovative and in compliance with DoD, Army ICAN-DI industry best practices.
Develops list of materials and works with the procurement team to source items
Perform configuration, securing and testing in a lab environment – implement STIGs and quality checks prior to shipment to site
Work with / lead installation team ensuring installation are performed within approved design criteria
Perform systems acceptance testing to validate installation and transition solution to the local O&M
Develop and perform technical presentations for customers - serve as technical resource at customer briefings
Understand and adhere to all CACI Ethical and Compliance policies
Proactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to CACI EH&S policies and procedures
Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
Required:
US Citizen with Secret security clearance, or ability to obtain clearance upon hire
Bachelor’s degree in a technical area or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience (in lieu of degree) in related discipline
5+ years or relevant experience
Experience with software-defined network implementations
Prior experience using Wi-Fi survey heatmapping tools
Successful background with VoIP deployments: call managers, ancillary systems, analog gateways, and VoIP phones.
Knowledge of Microsoft software applications and other software applications as required (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Must be extremely detailed oriented
Experience in using drawing tools such as Microsoft Visio or AutoCAD
Willingness to travel to other CACI locations or customer sites as necessary requires extensive travel (up to 50%)
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
Strong communications skills, both oral and written
Desired:
Prior experience with Army network modernization programs
Secret or Top Secret security clearance
Industry technical certifications at the associate or professional level
Security+ certification

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
