Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Modification Electrician F&H B to join our team in Everett, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Follow the guidance and direction from lead, and senior SMEs

  • Remove, replace, adjust and/or install equipment racks, power panels and various aircraft components/assemblies, and closures

  • Perform bond and ground testing to ensure electrical ground between aircraft systems

  • Perform wire routing and wire terminations

  • Perform soldering

  • Perform pre and post testing of electrical systems

  • Locate work area using drawings, Installation Plan or other paperwork that specifies airplane number, section number and three-point location

  • Obtain and verify detail parts, standards and assemblies were issued correctly and are free of visible defects

  • Perform lock out, tag out, try out equipment for safety

  • Perform detailed tool inventories daily

  • Demonstrate a safe work ethic

  • Work with military customers to ensure compliance with BDS policies and procedures

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience in performing complete operational testing of electrical systems

  • 1+ years of experience in electronics or electrical troubleshooting

  • Experience reading and interpreting system prints and schematics

Additional Information:

  • This is a union-represented position

  • This is an hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinist (IAM 751) Collective Bargaining Agreement. New Hires, as well as employees who transfer from non-union positions, may be required to attend some type of training upon their start. Once any required training has been completed all new employees will be considered on probation for a period of sixty (60) calendar days. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of the probationary period.

  • The selected candidate must be able to work any shift, as assigned

Summary pay range: $27.32 - $57.88/hour
