Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2026 Intern. The successful applicant will work with the support staff
in multiple different facets to include:
Analytics
Test and Test Engineering
Cable design, build and checkout
CCA processes
Manufacturing processes
Procedures and Reporting
6S
ESD
Other assignments as required
Various assignments on the manufacturing floor including but not limited to cables & assemblies, cabinets and CCA
Basic Qualifications:
-Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Computer Science, Electrical, Applied Mathematics, or closely related field.
-Strong Interest in mechanics, with some knowledge of programming and analytics
-Basic Knowledge of the Circuit Board Manufacturing environment and process as it relates to the DoD.
-Adept in the use of Microsoft, Software Suite including but not limited to: Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook
-Working knowledge of Electromechanical equipment and adept in troubleshooting and repair.
-Must be a US Citizen
Desired Skills:
-Experience with Fabricating and machining using basic machine shop tooling
-Experience with repair and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment
-Experience with optimization of databases as related to the manufacturing floor and processes
-Experience with Excel and Powerpoint in generating Excel soft tools for use in the Mfg. environment and Power Point to generate presentations for display of analytics

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
