If so, our Defense Systems (NGDS) sector wants you to join our Team as a Principal or Senior Principal Property/Asset Management Analyst and join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located onsite at our Orlando, FL location, but we may consider a flexible work arrangement.

Your duties include:

  • Oversee and analyze activities associated with asset business systems to ensure company, customer and US Government property located on site and at subcontractors are managed in accordance with applicable regulations and policies to achieve best value and operational excellence.

  • Monitors property accountability records, conducts internal property assessments, and analyze results for financial and operational purposes; provide guidance on contracts and regulations pertaining to property life-cycle management; develop, recommend, and implement Government property management policy; and prepare periodic and special purpose reports. 

Specific duties include, but not limited to:

  • Drafts and modifies property management processes for publication.

  • Under general direction, scope and conduct assessments, identify opportunities for improvement, and follow up on recommended actions for audits and assessments within the sector.

  • Work with the business/sites to ensure completion of corrective actions.

  • Support data calls and provide guidance and be an interface to the function for internal and external audits and assessments.

  • Support investigations of potential non-compliance issues as necessary.

  • Participate in sector and corporate-wide special projects and working groups, including corporate-led assessments and audits.

  • Assist with the implementation of property management automated solutions, which may include conducting testing and providing training on the processes and systems.

  • Provide training on processes and automated tools to property management employees as well as other internal customers.

  • Provide mentoring to other property management employees.

  • Travel up to 25% of the time visiting NGDS sites to oversee compliance and conduct self-assessments.

  • Train company Principles and Operating Practices (PrOP) as well as Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements (ex. Parts 45 & 52).

  • Develop data analytics / metrics, prepare reports, and demonstrate analysis.

Basic Qualifications:

This position may be hired as a Principal or Sr Principal based on the experience of the candidate selected.

  • Principal: High School diploma and a minimum of 9 yrs of relevant experience. A Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years related work experience or 3 years with a Masters degree.
  • Sr Principal: High School diploma and a minimum of 12 yrs of relevant experience. A Bachelors degree and a minimum of 8 years related work experience or 6 years with a Masters degree.
  • Knowledge of FAR Parts 52 and 45, industry leading practices, techniques, and standards as they pertain to Government Property Management.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
  • Current US Citizenship Required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Property Management Association (NPMA) Certifications (CPPS, CPPA, CPPM).
  • Active security clearance.
  • Certified Quality Auditor or internal auditor certifications.
  • Experience with identifying root cause and implementing corrective actions Knowledge of the DoD’s Procurement integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) as it relates to Government Property Management.

Primary Level Salary Range: $73,900.00 - $110,900.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $92,200.00 - $138,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
