Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2025 Manufacturing Engineer Intern. This is an Engineering Internship position for a BS Engineering program candidate supporting the Manufacturing Engineering (ME) team. In this role, you will be responsible for tasks from the design phase to the manufacturing phases. During the design phase, the candidate will be exposed to the generation of work instructions supporting the manufacture of detail components or assemblies. At the program level, the candidate may support producibility reviews, generation of cost and schedule estimates, and tracking of tasks to closure. Must be a US citizen.
Basic Qualifications:
Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
- A working knowledge of basic Mechanical measurement equipment,
-Familiar with CAD or SolidWorks.
- Basic understanding of product development
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
Must be a US citizen
Desired Skills:
- Familiar with CATIA
- Previous manufacturing or hands on experience desired
- Familiar with hand tools and equipment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
