L3Harris Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supplier Program Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the performance of our suppliers to ensure they meet the high standards of quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness required for our diverse range of programs. You will be the primary point of contact for supplier-related activities and will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop strategic supplier relationships. Your goal will be to drive supplier performance improvements, support program requirements, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.

As a Supplier Program Manager, you will leverage your extensive experience and knowledge to execute supplier selection processes, lead negotiations, and manage contractual agreements. You will monitor and evaluate supplier performance through key metrics and implement necessary corrective actions to maintain a high level of service and product quality. Essential Functions:

  • Lead and manage Subcontract Managers, ensuring high performance and alignment with program requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Drive supplier performance improvement initiatives with a focus on quality, delivery, cost, and innovation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to manage and resolve supplier-related issues.
  • Proactively address and mitigate risks to ensure program success.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures.
  • Lead the supplier selection process and participate in negotiations to secure favorable pricing and terms.
  • Monitor supplier performance through key metrics and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present program status reports to senior leadership.
  • Travel required – 25% to 30%.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience; or a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience; or in lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Demonstrated success in managing complex supplier relationships and programs.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and principles.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to achieve results in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility to work extended hours are required. Must be willing and able to travel regularly to other Aerojet Rocketdyne facilities and suppliers across the country.
  • Demonstrated abilities in team building, leadership and delegation skills to achieve project objectives are also required.
  • Experience in leading, encouraging, reviewing and critiquing work of supporting team members to maximize program success.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C. area, Denver, or NYC areas is $100,500.00 - $186,500.00. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont and Virginia is $87,500.00- $162,500.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
