Northrop Grumman is seeking a talented Manager Facilities 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals to support our programs located in Falls Church, VA.

The candidate selected for this role will be responsible for managing Corporate Facilities, Headquarters and team ensuring systems, tools, processes, training, and coordination for day-to-day operations.

The selected candidate will lead and/or advise on briefings and meetings for internal level customers and stakeholders; act as an advisor to staff members to meet schedules and resolve operational problems and manage budgets for recurring and non-recurring Facilities expenditures. The candidate will work in a fast paced and demanding environment with direct top level executive customer engagement daily.  

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and enable workplace services and engineering teams with both full-time staff and extensive third-party contractors, along with multiple locations.

  • Primary corporate facility is a critical site with 24X7 on-call coverage required. Off hour repair and maintenance work and projects required.

  • Prepare and coordinate the financial forecast of the Annual Operating Plan and Resource Plan.

  • Develop and maintain 5-year facilities maintenance plan and strategies.

  • Manage Facilities process management, design standards/services, tools, licenses, data monitoring, metrics, sector/enterprise initiative integration, and ad/hoc site and facilities administration support duties.

  • Participate in and support technical design reviews and/or facilitate A/E vendor support of design reviews.

  • Apply focused approach on coordination and consistent protocols around training and development for our Facilities personnel; ranging from standard orientation and onboarding to coordination of training / train the trainer model for processes, tools, and roles.

  • Oversee Facilities systems and tools including but not limited to Archibus, Maximo, Agilquest, AutoCAD, SharePoint and project management.

  • Lead facilities team on all FSA initiatives and partner with regional and enterprise best practices and harmonization.

  • Manage and advise on SharePoint file management and retrieval.

  • Provide strong administration skills and serve as back-up to staff.

  • Strong leader capable of pulling together effective meetings with peers and stakeholders to collect feedback, assess gaps, and define best practices.

  • Develops detailed actions plans and supports team in executing quality plans and methods of procedures.

  • Excellent communication and customer engagement skills required.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Systems, Facilities Engineering or Construction Management and 10+ years of relevant experience OR Master's Degree in Industrial, Systems, Facilities Engineering or Construction Management, MBA and 8+ years of relevant experience OR Associate's Degree and 12+ years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma and 14+ years of relevant experience.

  • Extensive Space Planning experience.

  • Solid budget planning, accounting and financial management experience.

  • Project Management and construction experience.

  • Ability to work with sense of urgency, both independently and in a team environment.

  • Able to manage a number of competing priorities concurrently.

  • Strong Microsoft 365 Office Suite skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project.

  • Experience managing teams and achieving organization objectives, goals, and metrics.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret level security clearance Qualifications.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, ERP/S4, AutoCAD, CMMS tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant discipline preferred.

  • The successful candidate must possess vision and strategic planning capability combined with an ability to drive action and closure.

  • The role requires excellent team building and communication skills, and demonstrated ability to influence without authority.

Primary Level Salary Range: $145,000.00 - $217,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
