As a Business Management – Manager Level 1 located in Dulles, VA, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.  

   

Our Business Management Manager will have oversight for all program-related business management activities, including partnering with the Organizational Unit Business Manager to ensure organizational financial goals are achieved, ensure superior financial performance and ensuring the customer’s mission is achieved. 

This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Program resource management, including cost estimation, allocation, tracking, and analysis
  • Monthly Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow analysis & reporting
  • Preparation and presentation of financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecast
  • Compliance and financial reporting in support of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and monthly Indicated Finals (IF)
  • EVMS oversight with COBRA reporting to satisfy internal/external deliverables.
  • Comprehensive Estimate-at-Complete (CEAC) preparation and review
  • Assistance with contract negotiations
  • Support of pricing and proposal activities
  • Review of contractual documents, including Technical Task Orders
  • Subcontractor invoicing and funding
  • On-going collaboration with the customer and functional teams
  • Management and development of Program Control Analyst (PCA) staff
  • NCTA Management and Reporting
  • Budget/Cost Center Management and Reporting
  • Indirect budget/cost management and reporting

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of professional experience.   Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
  • Financial analysis experience
  • Leadership experience
  • Experience in a federal contracting environment, that includes FAR/DFAR or other government regulations
  • Experience with MS Office Suite, including MS Excel

 Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Active U.S. Government Secret clearance at time of application
  • Proposal development, strategy development or estimating and negotiation experience
  • Experience with Cognos Financial Forecasting System, Cobra Earned Value Management

Primary Level Salary Range: $110,000.00 - $165,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
