Description:Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a Software Engineer in Orlando, FL. In this role, you will develop and maintain embedded software applications and/or desktop applications. Tasks will involve requirement, design, code, test, and integrate software for an embedded multi-core system as well as desktop computer applications for emulation of sensors and countermeasures. The successful candidate will have training in C/C++, object oriented design and experience with Linux OS.
Candidates filling this position will need a US citizen and will need a clearance at the level specified in “Clearance Level” or will need the ability to get a clearance if not specified. In addition to meeting security clearance requirements, candidate may need to be approved to work Special Access Program (SAP) prior to start of employment.
Basic Qualifications:
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related software discipline
• Demonstrated software development experience in C/C++
• Ability to obtain DoD Clearance
• Must be US Citizen
Desired Skills:
• Experience working with Operating Systems: Linux, Windows, Unix, VXWorks, etc.
• Software configuration management.
• Full software life-cycle development.
• Prior software development internships.
• Software integration and debugging techniques.
• Familiarity with Agile practices.
• Software / Hardware integration skills, including Raspberry Pi and Arduino. May include experience working with drones, robotics, UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles), etc.
• HWIL/Hardware-in-the-Loop.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
