We are seeking candidates for the position of Logistics Specialist I at the Indianapolis site. The individual will perform the tasks below that are in alignment with LAM inventory stores and issues problems. Issue Shortages, Store transactions problems: receiving shortages, over shipments, lost material, etc.


Responsibilities

V2X is growing! V2X is looking for a Logistics Specialist I to join our team! 

We are seeking candidates for the position of Logistics Specialist I at the Indianapolis site. The individual will perform the tasks below that are in alignment with LAM inventory stores and issues problems. Issue Shortages, Store transactions problems: receiving shortages, over shipments, lost material, etc.

Description:

The following is a sample of the various tasking required of the Logistics Specialist I. The omission of specific responsibilities does not exclude them from the position if the tasking is comparable or logically associated to the position.
• J08 inventory stores and issues problems. Issue Shortages, Store transactions problems: receiving shortages, over shipments, lost material, etc.
• Procure and maintain back-up stock of office supplies and equipment.
• Track/Inventory ESD and other equipment with expiration requirements for J08 Stores.
• Create, monitor, update OSHA and Company approved Power Industrial truck (PIT) training program for all personnel assigned to be a forklift operator in the facility.
• Assist in LAM Management request for department Safety programs and issues.

 


Qualifications

Education / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

High School Diploma.

Experience:

2 years work experience in the core Logistics functions of Receiving, Storing, Issuing, Inventory, and Delivery.

Ability to read, write and comprehend written or verbal instructions.

Ability to lift weight in accordance with current OSHA, Bureau of Labor Standards, and V2X recommendations and guidelines.

Skills & Technology Used:

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must.

Required:

Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
