Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a specialized area; or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a Polygraph. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Linux Integration & Test Specialist at General Dynamics Mission SystemsJoin our team to help create mission-critical systems that keep people safe. Work on groundbreaking technologies and make a real impact.What Youll Experience:Analysis of solution alternatives, recommend technical solutions that best meet the requirements.Perform system integration, testing, and validation processesfor new capabilities and regression use cases.Ensure systems meet security specifications.Responsible for the integration of system changes and new capabilities through the deployment to the production system.Engage in research, data analysis, and choose the best standards and tools for system development.What You Bring to the Table:Proficiency in systems engineering concepts and tools.Experience with requirements analysis and deployment preparation.Hands-on experience in Linux OS (Red Hat 7 and 8; PitBull 7 and 8)Ability to analyze and resolve system design issues.Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture Frameworks and project managementprinciples.Knowledge of Agile MethodologiesAbility to convert requirements into thorough test documentationWhat Sets You Apart:Thrive on troubleshooting and solving real world enterprise systems issues.Use of Ansible, Satelite, Ansible Tower/Ansible Automation Platfrom (AAP)Creation of Ansible PlaybooksDevelop innovative solutions for complex problems.Driven to pursue continuous improvement for yourself, the quality of the work product, and ultimately mission delivery results.Stay updated on technology trends and communicate them effectively.Our Commitment to You:Exciting career opportunities with continuous learning and development.Competitive benefits including 401k matching, flexible time off, healthcare, and wellness programs.Be part of a team that supports heroes and makes a true impact.A minimum of a IAT Level II (DoD 8570/8140.01) certification is required at time of hire: e.g. CompTIA Security+, GSEC, SSCP, and CCNA-Security
Salary Note
This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
Combined Salary Range
USD $89,505.00 - USD $96,847.00 /Yr.
