The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Lead Business Operations Project Management Specialist to join the team in Everett, WA; Mesa, AZ; or Seattle, WA.   

This individual will provide hands-on leadership for an operations team, managing complex, divisional requirements end-to-end while mentoring team members and ensuring actions, Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), program reviews, etc. are completed.

You will be responsible for balancing tactical execution with continuous improvement to optimize team performance and ensure division operations are successful.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight of actions related to operations, risk, and portfolio/financial management

  • Ensure consistent follow through

  • Build and maintain operational rhythms, including regular meetings, reporting, and performance metrics to ensure alignment and accountability across teams

  • Prepare materials for executive meetings, including presentations, reports, and strategic documents

  • Manage stakeholder relationships across the organization, ensuring effective communication and alignment on strategic priorities

  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, encouraging team members to share ideas and best practices

  • Demonstrate versatility and resilience in navigating challenges and adapting to changing business needs

  • Demonstrate extremely high levels of attention to detail

  • Produce high quality deliverables with minimal rework

  • Respond well to fast-paced, feedback-rich environments

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership

  • 10+ years of experience directly supporting senior/executive leaders

  • 10+ years of experience in data analytics, engineering, information technology, or an equivalent technical field

  • 5+ years of experience working in a lead role responsible for planning, organizing, and leading personnel to solve complex technical problems

  • 5+ years of experience with business operations and/or business process improvements

  • 3+ years of experience working with Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience

  • 10+ years of experience communicating with executive audiences

  • 10+ years of experience collaborating internally across multiple organizations

  • Experience leading a team either formally or informally, mentoring, and supporting team members

  • Experience in Program Management, Compliance, Risk Management and Finance

  • Experience with OKR goal-setting framework

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $162,350 – $234,600
