Overview

General Dynamics is the world's foremost designer and builder of nuclear submarines. The IT Supply Chain Oracle System Engineer group has openings for highly motivated system engineers to support Electric Boats customization of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application suite. ERP is the vehicle for integrating people, processes and technologies across a digital supply chain ecosystem. These applications will reduce program cost and prepare the company to face the challenges and opportunities of a modernized digital enterprise. Our team members must have strong verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences. You will grow your skills, work with the cutting edge technologies and introduce new tools and techniques to the team. There are plenty of opportunities for leadership growth as well.

Responsibilities

• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel

• Strong working knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite and the Oracle patching processes
Excellent problem solving skillsCapable of working in a fast paced, dynamic and team oriented environmentAbility to multitask and still stay focused on release prioritiesExperience with GIT, SQL Developer, Jira, Confluence, Visio

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems or Management Infoormation Systems5+ years of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program experience

Preferred:

Advanced SQL experienceProduct owner experience within an agile organizationExperience capturing business requirements, preparing functional specification documents, solution designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing practice business solutions with Oracle ERP
