Position Summary :

As an IT Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of IT projects with regional or limited global scope, supporting Jet Aviation's digital transformation initiatives. You will manage projects end-to-end, from planning through to delivery and transition into operations, across areas such as business applications, data analytics, infrastructure, cloud services, and automation.

In this role, you will also contribute to the development of a new Global IT Project Management Office (PMO). You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs and create value.

A key part of this role is the ability to communicate clearly-translating complex technical topics into simple, business-friendly updates for stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle, including scope, requirements, schedule, budget, design, testing, deployment, and transition to operations
• Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables
• Work with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and requirements
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including tracking milestones and critical path activities
• Provide clear and regular project updates, including status reports and presentations
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation actions
• Manage change control processes and ensure delivery within agreed timelines and scope
• Oversee vendor coordination and external resource management
• Develop and execute test strategies, including defect management and resolution
• Plan and manage cutover activities, hypercare support, and operational handover
• Support project closure activities, including lessons learned and retrospectives
• Contribute to the development of PMO standards, tools, and methodologies
• Participate in governance forums and project steering committees
• Support evaluation and improvement of project portfolio management practices

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 2-4 years of experience in IT Project Management
• Experience using project management tools such as Smartsheet
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, CSM, or equivalent)

Desired Attributes

• Experience delivering IT projects in infrastructure, cybersecurity, HR, or finance domains
• Exposure to digital transformation or enterprise IT initiatives
• Experience working in aviation or similarly regulated industries is an advantage
• Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills
• Proven ability to manage vendors and influence stakeholders effectively
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams
• Ability to communicate confidently at all levels, including senior leadership
• Self-driven, adaptable, and able to work independently or in teams
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and global mindset
