Overview
Starting Hourly Rate: $20 per hour.
General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) is looking for an experienced Intern - Technical Support (R&D Engineer) to join our Lincoln, NE organization. We are expanding rapidly and looking for motivated and creative individuals who want to help support and shape this organization as we grow.
GD-OTS provides reliable and affordable composite products to the defense and commercial aerospace markets. With more than 60 years of expertise, GD-OTS designs, develops, manufactures, and tests a full range of composite missile and space structures, including rocket motors, pressure vessels, launch tubes and fuel tanks.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Technology Engineering group in all aspects of product development.
- Depending on capabilities of the applicant, this support would include:
- Extract Data from databases.
- Support internal customers to fill requests for data and other statistical analysis with supervision.
- Perform analysis on existing data and identify root causes for data inaccuracies.
- Monitor the implementation of engineering change requests and test each one to ensure it works as designed.
Qualifications
Completed a minimum of 2 years in an Engineering discipline, working towards a BS in Engineering.
This is a Year-Round Internship located on-site at our facility in Lincoln, NE.
