The Boeing Company is seeking an Industrial Security Manager to support the Enterprise Classified Security, Enterprise Security Service, and Personal Security (PERSEC) Center in Berkeley, MO.

This position requires strong leadership, relationship-building, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with government customers and stakeholders.

Please note, this role will be relocated to Mesa, Arizona within 6 to 12 months of accepting the position.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Ability to lead employees in safeguarding information via security inquiries, compliance assessments, and security control implementation

  • Oversee personnel security for Enterprise Classified Security, ensuring operations comply with government requirements

  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes ensuring operational plans align with company objectives

  • Implement plans to ensure business and customer requirements are achieved

  • Assign employee roles, authority and accountability (RAAs), ensure they are effectively communicated, and provide ongoing feedback

  • Ensure plans are executed, adjusted and issues are resolved.

  • Manage, develop, motivate employees, and recognize contributions to improve employee satisfaction

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while communicating status to leadership

  • Develop and implement processes related to clearance and special program processing

  • Assist with team members’ professional growth and development

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports

  • Identify deficiencies and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with government requirements

  • Generate metrics to measure output and performance to improve productivity and share with direct reports

  • Assist with Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment

  • Oversee operations for Security Service to ensure RAAs are being executed

  • Process/report adverse and derogatory information on personnel who hold an active clearance and briefed to special programs

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or have you been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years

  • 3+ years of experience in Industrial Security

  • 3+ years of experience working with the National Industrial Security Procedures and Operations Manual (NISPOM), NISP and Special Access programs

  • 3+ years of experience working in one or a combination of the following domains: NISP, SAP and/or SCI

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams

  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership position

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with the Pre-Screening Questionnaire (PSQ) process

  • 3+ years of experience in eAPP, SF-86

  • 3+ years of experience with the following database: JADE, DISS, TALON, Scattered Castles

  • 3+ years of experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders/customers

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $111,350 – $150,650
