Millennium Space Systems, a division of Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), is looking for a Human Resources Generalist(HRG) to join their team in El Segundo, CA. Our team is open to a broad range of experience levels including experienced and senior generalists to find the best fit for the position.  In this role, you will partner with managers and individual contributors to provide HR support across one or more functional organizations. You will help drive positive collaboration, strengthen communication, and support business outcomes across the organization.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with leaders across the organization

  • Help design, launch, and drive adoption of human resources (HR) processes that improve efficiency, reporting, and communication across the company

  • Use data to identify workforce trends, assess team health, and communicate actionable insights

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievances

  • Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution to meet the evolving needs of a dynamic and inclusive workforce

  • Partner with HR colleagues and cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen company culture, reinforce values, and support employee engagement

  • Collaborate with HR peers to develop and update policies and procedures in alignment with evolving trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law

  • Manage relationships with union representatives

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience working with employees as a Human Resources Generalist (HRG) or Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

  • 3+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans and/or executing strategies and managing projects

  • 3+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and linking relevant HR strategies to business outcomes

  • 1+ years of experience interfacing with and presenting to senior and/or executive leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist (HRG) or Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

  • 3+ years of experience partnering with leadership to design and implement workforce strategies that support organizational objectives

  • 3+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions

  • Experience working with both union and non-union employee populations

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, engineering, or other technical industries

  • Experience with workforce planning, HR analytics, or HR transformation initiatives

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range Experienced (Level 3): $102,000 - $138,000

Summary pay range Senior (Level 4): $127,500 - $172,500
